While the majority of New Jersey City University’s students commute, there is a thriving community of approximately 260 residents living in three residence halls. With a strong commitment to all of its students, Residence Life provide more than just a place to sleep. We provide living-learning quality service programs designed to create an atmosphere that encourages and supports academic achievement, leadership development, civility and good citizenship.

Living on campus offers convenience to classes, library, labs, fitness center, activities and events. The University's three smoke free, alcohol and substance free residential facilities provide opportunities to completely experience campus life, meet new people and learn in a cultural environment outside of the classroom.

Small and distinctive, NJCU’s on-campus housing is by far the commuting solution! We are worth experiencing!
